Flash Attack Program

In 2022, we implemented the Flash Attack program, an initiative thought up by our CEO, Tami Wilson. Flash connects with integral community partners to contribute to those in need in our community. In Tami’s words, “We started doing this when one of our employees was asked to drop something off at his neighbor’s house. He found that the cupboards were empty, no food, no nothing for a family of five kids and one adult.” Each month, we find a family in need and give them what we can to help with food, rent, and bills.

Through the Flash Attack program, we have contributed to families burdened with disease, injury, disaster, or when encountering unplanned family structure changes. We believe that through supporting each other in times of crisis, we build a stronger relationship with those around us.

Workforce Development

In 2024, Flash attended the Norman Economic Development Coalition (NEDC) Annual Meeting, A Leap Forward cohosted with the Sooner Centurions, and established vital relationships with local workforce development leaders Lawrence McKinney, Elizabeth Hennen-McKinney, and Mark Braley. Through these relationships, Flash and NEDC are collaborating to benefit the local economy and support Flash Networks Group, Inc. during the transition of moving MightyMAXX manufacturing to Norman.

Epos Sports Experience

Flash is a proud sponsor of Epos, a program that provides mentoring, life skills, connection, and mental and physical health support to students in need. With the help of our sponsorship, Epos was able to provide their weeklong camp for 697 athletes for free and reduce the $350 fee to $99 for all others. Camp provides mentoring, life skills, connection, and mental and physical health support to students in need. We are so lucky to be able to aid our community with this beneficial and life-changing opportunity.

Flash Internship Program

We created a successful internship program for local students to gain workforce and digital skills. As a small team, our interns get personalized support from every member which furthers their opportunities for growth. During the first semester of our internship program, we employed an intern from both the University of Oklahoma and Moore-Norman Technology Center. Flash is ecstatic to report both students have successfully completed their internships, and both have sense accepted full-time employment with Flash Networks Group. Learn more about each intern in NewsFLASH.
